[Dr. Zimmerman}Bernard Zimmermann, MD graduated from Harvard College and the West Virginia University School of Medicine and completed his medical and rheumatology training at the Roger Williams Medical Center. Since then he has been an active member of the faculty. He has published articles on various topics including septic arthritis, spondyloarthropathy, and gout, and lectures frequently on many rheumatologic topics. He lives in Rhode Island with his family, enjoys sailing and windsurfing, and plays basketball weekly with residents and fellows.

 

 

[Dr. Lally]Edward V. Lally, MD graduated from Brown University and received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine training at the Boston City Hospital and was a rheumatology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lally has authored or co-authored over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as numerous book chapters and review articles. He is nationally known for his research and publications on scleroderma and related disorders. He lectures frequently on connective tissue disorders and is actively involved in the fellowship in both the outpatient and consultation services. His free time is spent raising five children and coaching youth sports in Barrington.

 

[Dr. Schwartz]Stuart T. Schwartz, MD is a graduate of Duke University and UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School. He completed his medical training at Rhode Island Hospital and Rheumatology Fellowship in the Roger Williams Medical Center Program. In addition to his busy practice at Rhode Island Hospital, he is an active teacher at the Brown Medical School as well as the medical residency at Rhode Island Hospital, and is a key member of the rheumatology faculty. He has published and lectured on osteoarthritis, crystal diseases, and vasculitis among other topics. Dr. Schwartz enjoys water sports with his two children and competes in local triathlons.

 

 

[Dr. Said]Nuha Said, MD graduated from the University of Jordan Medical School in 1995. She completed Internal Medicine Residency at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island and Rheumatology fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center. Prior to joining the academic faculty at Roger Williams, she was a staff rheumatologist at the Lahey Clinic in Massachusetts. She has particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory myopathies, and truly enjoys clinical teaching. Her recreational activities include gardening, reading and spending time with her son.

 

 

[Dr. Hall]Harald Alexander Hall, MD is a graduate of Cornell University and the Chicago Medical School.  He completed his medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center in 2005 and then joined the academic rheumatology faculty.  His recent research interests have included novel therapies for the treatment of inflammatory myositis. Dr. Hall attends at the Roger Williams and VA sites. He enjoys windsurfing, skiing, and playing with his three young children.
