Research

As a teaching hospital, research is an integral part of the residency experience here and housestaff are required to participate in research projects. Research and case study presentations at the American College of Physicians Meeting has become an annual tradition.

A faculty-sponsored, publication-grade clinical research project is encouraged for each house officer. Pragmatic clinical topics are encouraged but bench research is also possible.
