Two OR suites are open until 11:00pm
The Roger Williams OR is designed and equipped to perform major and minor surgical procedures in all specialty areas with the exception of open-heart surgery. We are a major center for joint replacement surgery, laproscopic gastric bypasses, and complex surgical oncologic procedures requiring the latest surgical technologies.
RNs and surgical scrub technicians adhere to AORN standards for Perioperative care. Surgery "Express" Program for select cases. Care is supplemented by a number of professional and ancillary staff.

The unit houses eight operating room suites, one holding room with four patient bays, and one minor procedure room.
