Support Groups
The success of any weight loss surgery depends highly on the after care. It is critical for long-term weight loss that the patient understands that any surgery is only a tool to help loose weight and maintain weight loss.
For the long-term success the patients need to do their part. That means the patients should be willing to follow all the recommendations that the surgeons give them and participate in activities that will help the patients achieve and maintain a long-lasting weight loss.
Critically important are support groups. There are several support groups available. They are at different weeks, days, times and locations so that there should be one that suits every patient.
Bellow we list all support groups. If sign-up is necessary, the announcement will say so. It is always good to check before you plan to attend. Changes can happen.
